A fascinating article of how we all influence one another. And thank you for mentioning the Graphology angle where handwriting in a small but unique way can untangle certain influences.

As aways look forward to your articles .I think we all choose someone in our young age that we admire and want to be like . I think it does stay with you forever. I hope I had a little something to influence you in a good way . I remember dad doing that with his fingers.. My son David who didn’t know dad that well walks around to this day playing the piano with his fingers and has never touched a piano . Glad you didn’t paint your kitchen blue and you have your own style from Heather ❤️

I didn't know that about David! I love it❤️ You were my good social example but you probably knew that😉 Thank you.

In my culture, that a cantaloupe catches color from another cantaloupe - meaning that if you put a ripened fruit next to to a unripe one, the former causes the latter to ripen or "catch color". It's an expression to say "be careful with who you surround yourself with". Lovely article and I enjoyed all the different ways you came at the topic.

Great post to ponder. If one really thinks about this one sees how just using Great Grandma's favorite recipe can once again give life to a loved one. Hearing a song that my old roommate used to sing makes her young again in my mind. Maybe we all leave little imprints that make us all not just mortal but a little immortal as well.

Beautifully said, Connie. I like that, being made immortal without realizing it. Thank you

Hi Trevy! I think one of the nicest compliments one can receive is to find out you had a positive influence on someone else’s life. I expect teachers hear this the most. But most of the time we never know how we’ve influenced someone. That’s a lot of pressure. We all want that influence to be good but we’re just living our lives and possibly changing others’. Good enough reason to be kind. Cheers and thanks for another good post.

You're right, Paula. I think of your art instruction often. Thanks for your comment!
